Strack & Van Til partners with Sojourner Truth House for donation-matching fundraiser

HIGHLAND, IN. – Strack & Van Til teamed up with Sojourner Truth House in a donation-matching partnership for Giving Tuesday on Nov. 28. The funds raised will help homeless women and children living in Lake County.
Sojourner Truth House is a ministry of hope and help for homeless and at-risk women and their children sponsored by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ. Through hospitality, advocacy, integrative services and collaboration, participants improve their quality of life and that of the community in a safe, trusting environment. The organization believes in empowering women and children in need by providing them with basic life skills.
The donation-matching partnership directly helps women access the services provided by the Sojourner Truth House. Services such as employment training, healthcare screenings and counseling to improve their quality of life.
On Giving Tuesday, the donations will be matched up to the first $5,000 raised by the community.
