You know what they say about “an apple a day.”

While apples may be a good thing for your health, have you considered the health of your local school? Many schools desperately need educational equipment and supplies, and that is why Strack & Van Til is again pitching in with its Apples for the Students program.

Your school can participate, with your grocery purchases — apples or otherwise — helping earn free educational awards that benefit your child. The Apples for the Students Program makes it possible for your school to earn computers and iPads, sporting goods, audio visual equipment, science supplies and more through the program’s Awards Catalog by redeeming receipts collected during the program dates.

It’s easy. Simply shop at your local Strack & Van Til store, collect your register receipts and submit them to your local participating school. Every dollar spent earns a point toward educational equipment. Receipts must be dated from Sept. 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026, and receipts are due for redemption by April 8, 2026.

Be sure your school signs up for the program: A representative from each school needs to sign up for an account ataftssvt.comor by calling 800-352-4658. Schools must be enrolled in the program open to any accredited, nonprofit public or private school, preschool through high school.

Save all your Strack & Van Til receipts and send them to school with your student as often as possible. Ask your family and friends to save their receipts as well so your school can maximize the points they earn. The school will total the value of the register tapes collected and — new this year — they can scan deposit forms with receipt totals signed by the store manager and submit via email by April 15, as long as the school retains the physical receipts through the end of the school year.

The equipment ordering period runs from April 15, 2026, [KB1] through May 15, 2026.

Enroll or update your school by Oct. 15, 2025, and automatically earn a 5,000-receipt value bonus – added once your first deposit is made.

Deposit at least $75,000 in register receipts by Nov. 30, 2025, and receive a 10,000-receipt value bonus.

Each school can create a receipt collection box. Your school’s coordinator can take a photo of the box and email it to info@aftsSVT.com and the school will receive a 10,000-receipt value bonus. Be sure to include school name and code. All photos must be postmarked by Nov. 30, 2025, and become the property of Program Headquarters.
