Ring in New Year with festive charcuterie selections from Strack &Van Til

It’s almost 2022 and that means it’s time to get ready to ring in the New Year. Pick up all the items you need to design your own holiday charcuterie board from the Deli Department at your local Strack & Van Til food store and entertain your guests in style.
“Keep it simple or indulge in an extravagant charcuterie board. Experience unique flavor pairings with pretty layers of meats such as salamis and thinly sliced prosciuttos and cheeses cut in geometric shapes for eye-catching appeal,” says Deli Department Director Kristin Snow. “Add fresh fruits, berries or dried fruits, honeys, fruit preserves, cheese spreads, olives, bruschetta, specialty crackers, breads, cheese crisps and nuts to complete your spread, and complement your charcuterie board with festive wines.”
Choose from traditional aged cheddars, which are rich and nutty with increasing sharpness based on the length of time they’re aged. Manchego cheeses, made from sheep’s milk, have a firm and compact consistency and a buttery texture.
Creamy options include Gouda, Havarti, Brie and Goat cheeses.
Gouda and Havarti are smooth, buttery and creamy with a slightly acidic flavor and pair perfectly with grapes, almonds and a Riesling wine. Available Havarti flavors include dill, horseradish and jalapeño.
Serve President’s Brie, a rich and creamy option with an earthy mushroom flavor, and goat cheeses in a variety of flavor profiles including blueberry vanilla, honey and cranberry cinnamon.
Toast the New Year and impress your guests with a delicious Charcuterie board curated by you and find all the ingredients you need at your local Strack & Van Til Food Market.
Happy New Year 2022!
