This exclusive sausage blends Strack & Van Til’s commitment to fresh, high-quality meats with the bold, uncompromising flavors of Three Floyds’ iconic Zombie Dust beer.
The collaboration originated when Mike Haggerty from Calumet Breweries approached Three Floyds with the opportunity to craft a unique beer-infused sausage. After trialing multiple varieties, Zombie Dust emerged as the perfect pairing, offering a distinct, citrusy hop profile that complements the expertly crafted sausage.
“We’re very excited about this partnership with Strack & Van Til,” said Taylor Dawson, marketing manager at Three Floyds Brewing. “Like us, they got their start in Northwest Indiana, so it’s a natural fit. It’s always fun to see our beer utilized in creative ways, especially when it involves food. You can’t beat the classic combination of beer and sausage.”
To bring the idea to life, Three Floyds provided kegs of Zombie Dust to Strack & Van Til’s trusted meat packer where production took shape. Now, approximately 300 cases of innovative beer sausage are ready for customers to enjoy, making it the ideal addition to summer cookouts.
This release continues Strack & Van Til’s tradition of delivering high-quality products crafted with exceptional care.
